Second opinion

The Dialysis unit here in Waterloo called Mayo to see where Denise stood with her transplant status.  Mayo said that until Denise's Albumin was in the 3's (Currently high 1's) or a protocol for dealing with FSGS was determined, that Denise was still on a hold list.  The Waterloo DaVita dialysis center pushed the subject a little further, Mayo responded by stating that Denise was free to get a second opinion.  With that, the Dialysis center contacted Iowa City Hospitals.  Iowa City is interested in reveiwing Denise's case and wants us to come down for consultation and prelimenary testing in November.
So, guess we are not done yet.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
Jim
